    The Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada (SMCC) was created to drive advancements in the field of sponsorship marketing and has 1,000+ members across the country comprised of marketers, agency partners and sponsorship properties. Redstone has worked with this organization on many initiatives including the following:

  • Identified gaps in SMCC’s membership structure and conducted a full membership restructure, resulting in simplified options and maximized dues revenue.
  • Overhauled the 2019 AGM format to achieve a record number of AGM attendees and increased revenue by 41% from the year prior.
  • Transitioned SMCC’s annual in-person award show to a virtual format in 2020 by utilizing a film studio to live stream the awards presentation to a remote audience. This was tremendously well received and set numerous records for number of case submissions (+45% YOY) and registrants (+33% YOY).
  • Conducted a full review of the organization’s by-laws, in consultation with a not-for-profit lawyer, and made amendments to reflect the changing landscape of the membership composition and the industry at large.
  • Enhanced the online user experience for members by overhauling the entire website and transitioning to a new Association Management System.

    Women in Nuclear Canada (WiN Canada), is a Canadian not-for-profit organization with 1,700+ members across the country which supports and encourages women working in the nuclear industry, particularly energy and radiation applications. Redstone has worked with WiN Canada on a number of initiatives including:

  • Overseeing the planning and management of the Annual Conference. The 2019 conference exceeded overall profit expectations by 45% and registration revenue by 39%.
  • Increased membership by 45% since May 2016 through increased member engagement and excellent customer service.
  • Took over the management of WiN Canada’s social media channels and introduced video content which helped increase engagement and resulted in a social media reach increase of 114% since 2016.
  • Developed a new sponsorship package in coordination with the WiN President, resulting in over $100,000 in annual funding secured.
  • Worked with the Board of Directors and a facilitator to develop WiN Canada’s Strategy Map and Business Model/Plan, which provides direction on how the association will achieve its mission and vision in the next two years.
  • Reviewed and revised by-laws to ensure that the Board was acting in accordance with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act.
