Christy is an excitable, collaborative planner with a passion for creating engaging, experiential events. She is respected for her positive, enthusiastic attitude and ability to organize to the finest detail. Christy has a wide range of experience having spent years in the non-profit industry in fund development and event coordination before transitioning to corporate events. Christy spent the last 5 years, primarily as an event production manager, planning and executing corporate event programs, reward and incentive trips, and professional development events.
Christy’s education is comprised of a Fashion Arts and Business diploma from Humber College where she also worked as an Event Assistant, a post-grad program in Corporate Communications & Public Relations and a certificate in Event Management from Fanshawe College. Most recently, Christy obtained the Virtual Event & Meeting Management certificate from the Event Leadership Institute.
Christy is passionate about the non-profit industry having partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Wish and World Vision. Having worked for non-profit charities and agencies, helping people and making a difference are part of her core values.
Christy is obsessed with travel and adventure. Having travelled solo to Sri Lanka, Greece, Italy, Spain (and more!) she has learned gratitude, independence, the value of connecting global communities and cultures, and the importance of stepping outside of a comfort zone to learn and grow.
When not working, you’ll find her outside, hiking, on an adventure, going to the beach, or eating her body weight in pizza, Mexican or Greek food.
